Shredding/Tapping with Arpeggios - Danny Gill Page Two

harmony and theory back coverYou do need to learn the notes and the sooner the better and this is the best way to put it into smaller manageable segments that you can have fun with as you start to get the hang of it.

At least that's what I found out.

Danny uses  a chord progression of Em CM Am Em CM GM CM DM B with Db in the bass.

He breaks each of those chords down to their 1-3-5 notes and shows us how to play them on the top two strings. He makes us think OK Em?

What's is the one? E the two G and B for three and slowly after a few days weeks months you gain facility. You memorize the patterns and slowly get up to a speed that always improves up to a point.

There is no race and nothing to prove so enjoy your practice.

You start simply with the I III and V notes of the chords' scale on the top two strings playing what he calls 2 string arpeggios and it sounds great.

His sound is that metal distorted sound they never explain how we are supposed to obtain for some reason.
