Some of these mini lessons are easier than others but for the most part they are advanced.
I have had this guitar lesson for three years and still find it difficult to come to terms with it even though I practice scales and arpeggios an hour and half every day and then play for an hour or two after that.
I never claimed to be a talent such as many of you no doubt are, but I am warning you, without foundation you waste your time attempting advanced material.
On the other hand it is a real nice addition to anyone's guitar style library.
Soaking up Greg's analysis of each of these 25 artists can only deepen your comprehension of all the amazingly different ways that the guitar can be played.
Now due to time constraints Greg cant obviously analyze in great depth each artist. In fact whole lessons could be devoted to each of them so don't expect an encyclopedia of guitar erudition.
Rather a brief visitation into a remarkable aspect each artists style is more like it. Some of this is played incredibly fast and even though he explains it later slowed down you are looking at extended and dedicated metronome activity to play it up to speed. We do that anyway you say?
Well then this can serve as an ideal and a goal for you to strive for. However its important to not make unrealistic goals in life. Better a small gain than giving up guitar in frustration as too difficult. More below.
